After an extremely popular and successful Blue Water Mangrove expedition we have put together another tailor-made Raja Ampat diving itinerary. This is by no means any standard charter dive trip. Divers on this trip will also benefit from Shannon Conway providing his expertise in underwater photography. Giving photographic hints & tips, along with presentations, photo critique and one to one tuition.

You will also have the knowledge and expertise offered by Graham Abbott to make sure you are in the right places at the right times for the best possible photography. Graham will also be going in search of those unique critters that Raja Ampat has to offer, as well as marine life you would love to photograph or just be happy to see. He will also be available anytime to sit down with you and correctly identify the marine subjects that you have taken photographs of.

Trip details

One of the most colourful photogenic blennies out there...

One of the most colourful & photogenic blennies, commonly found around the Raja Ampat, but nowhere else in Indonesia…

Two of the great things about Raja Ampat are that it covers such a huge area and has the greatest marine diversity on the planet. Graham has been exploring these islands since 2001, he discovered and named quite a few of Raja Ampats special sites and is still finding more. This means we will not be diving on top of lots of other groups of divers. We will be diving several special sites that even the guides onboard have yet to dive. The aim on this trip is to show divers a wide range of what central and northern Raja Ampat has to offer. We will be taking in some awesome fishy dives, outstanding scenic dives, some really hot macro dives, a few great shallow dives and a few other dives for unique photographic opportunities too!

What’s to see

Wobbiegong shark within soft corals

During your dive trip we will be showing you outstanding coral reefs packed with colour and the largest marine diversity on the planet. There will be dives with vast amounts of fish, as well as dives that are purely to enjoy the gorgeous topographic features on these rich reefs, pristine coral reef shallows. We will also be choosing a few sites where we have great chances to see Manta rays, Sharks, Napoleon wrasse, Tuna… For those interested there will be night dives to see some of the more unique macro life of this area too.

For those interested you may also be offered the chance to try a totally new and exciting night diving experience too!
