Ondina

Ondina
Ondina was built to operate as an owner operated vessel diving all over the many islands in Indonesia.
Built traditional by the Bugis ship builders in Tanah Beru, Bira, South Sulawesi. All the while the
building was watched over by the owner, meaning standards are high. Attention to detail and the ease for divers is very good.

Lounge
Fitted throughout in solid wood, leaving a wooden finish that gives a really warming feeling
throughout. The lounge area has good entertainments with videos, music CD's and games at hand for those
who may not be diving as much as others. A recent addition of an upper deck sunshade makes for a better place to dry off between dives, without burning in direct sun.

Dining Area
Spacious dining area where snacks and fresh fruits are always there for free consumption as you please.
All food is cooked and served by friendly multi-lingual female service crew.

Ondina tender boats

Tender Boat
Ondina has 2 rigid inflatable tender boats with another small fibre glass
tender to take divers to the dive sites.
Camera systems
A table at the rear of the boat is dedicated for camera and video. Charging
stations are inside within the dive deck with 220 and 110Volt systems available.
E6 processing available!
Ondina dive systems
An easy access ladder to the tender boats on either side, always diving from
tender boats with the main vessel safely moored on most occasions. It is usually possible to make
up to 4 dives per day including a night dive, depending on the logistics of the itinerary. A small
room serves as a wetsuit hanging area with a hot water deck shower for rinsing off after dives.
Let's not forget Food
Food starts around 6.30 with a daily rotation of fresh bread with eggs any
style, then pancakes with spreads the next day. Snacks of biscuits, wafers and fresh fruit are always
on hand for helping yourself. A variety of meals are served for lunch and in the evenings.
Ondina conclusion
For diving in style on a European owned/operated Pinisi, travelling in comfort.
Ondina may be a great choice for you. This is also a great boat for those wanting to do more land tours in
Indonesia.
Note: Ondina has a fairly liberal smoking policy for a more European based clientele, though they are getting there
slowly!
