Andaman Islands

A private charter group were after yet another adventure, the aim was to head to a dive destination for great diving and a place where we wouldn’t see other divers.  The Andaman Islands certainly did just that.  We didn’t see one other dive boat on the whole 10 days of diving in the Andaman Islands.  The only time we saw other tourists was when we were in Port Blair, where we started and ended our adventure…

The Andaman Islands are a unique group of Islands far south of India and many of the islands in this group are still off limits to any tourism and visits to these islands are rarely allowed.  Our route showed us a great variety of dive sites and lots of great white sand beaches.  Due to the remote location and difficult rules in this island group there is only really one dedicated dive boat for diving the Andaman Islands.  We were well looked after by the fun loving crew onboard the Infiniti.  Infiniti is a sturdy steel hulled motor vessel with a great enthusiastic crew to look after their divers.
